What is boudoir photography?

 

Boudoir photography is as old as the camera. If you were to look up "boudoir photography" on Wikipedia, it states the following: a photographic style featuring intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images of its subjects in a photographic studio, bedroom or private dressing room environment[*].

It is common for women to have photographs taken of them to give their partner but in the recent years it has transformed into something better... Boudoir Photography is now dedicated to giving women a luxurious experience rooted in exploring, discovering and embracing their femininity.

I am so stoked to make folks see how badass and beautiful they are! I will be your guide, hypewoman, and friend throughout the process and on the day of your session. I want every woman to feel beautiful and badass when they experience a boudoir session with Honey Pixels, I want every woman to cherish themselves and uncover their own beauty. I photograph people of all ages, sizes, body types because everybody deserves badass and beautiful images of themselves!

WHY BOOK A SESSION?

I firmly believe everyone is beautiful and badass; they deserve beautiful images of themselves. A boudoir session can be a gift to yourself to celebrate your birthday, yourself, achieving goals, or just because! A boudoir session can also be a gift to your partner for your wedding, Valentine's Day, Christmas, anniversary or just because! Your why can be anything but this is your moment.

I believe that boudoir photography is something every woman has to at least experience once in their lifetime. It's an empowering session. I want you to walk in to my studio feeling comfortable and leaving feeling confident and in love with yourself even more. My job is to make you reflect how truly beautiful you are!
